Abstract

The system ensuring safe operation of a reactor facility (RF) (CPS - control and protection system) has to be equipped with the most state-of-the-art algorithms and equipment. CPS includes a great number of subsystems that control the respective RF parameters by physically different means. In the course of these systems’ designing the questions always arise concerning the approach to their designing aimed to obtain the most effective data on the RF core status, or correct processing of the initial measurement data in order to obtain the maximum operational and accurate information on the key control parameters (e.g., RF power). One of the CPS subsystems is NFCE (neutron flux control equipment) this paper describes a method for improving the accuracy of RF core key parameters control for this subsystem.
