Магистр по физике и математике в МГУ им. М.В. Ломоносова в 1985 году и доктор физико-математических наук в Университете Гаваны в 1995 году. 30 летний опыт исследований и разработок в области ядерной физики и медицинской физики. С февраля 2004 работал в качестве специалиста по ядерной физике в отделе ядерных данных МАГАТЭ, в настоящее время – заместитель начальника Секции ядерных данных МАГАТЭ. Сфера научных интересов – структура ядра и ядерные реакции, константы и параметры нейтронов. Автор и соавтор более 400 публикаций, в том числе более 60 в 2017–2021 гг.
