Abstract

Calculations of impurities mass transfer in circuit with liquid metal require such a fundamental characteristics as diffusion coefficients and solubility of individual substances. In the paper review with comparison of different literature data on solubilities of principal impurities in two liquid metal coolants – sodium and lead – has been presented. Impurities considered within this paper can be divided in two groups: metallic and nonmetallic impurities. Performed analysis showed that today there is a significant gap between experimental data of different authors.
