Abstract

The article presents a system of analytical tests on the kinetics of neutrons in the simple spatial geometries. Solutions of test problems both homogeneous and with an external source, found without finite difference methods. Initial non-stationary system of group diffusion equations initially given to the evolutionary view of the Cauchy problem. Solutions are expressed through the fundamental matrix of solutions, consisting of the eigenvectors of the operator and the exponent of evolutionary matrix. The main advantage of these solutions is the high accuracy at any time range. Solutions are provided for two options: a model of kinetics model of delayed neutrons and kinetics on prompt neutrons. The first important when testing transients in a nuclear reactor, the latter can be used in the analysis of pulsed experiments. The results can be used to test a variety of finite difference schemes used in the codes for the calculation of neutron kinetics reactor.
