Abstract
The method and experimental set up intended for measurements of temporal characteristics of delayed neutrons for fission of the 238U induced by relativistic protons were described in present work. Temporal dependence of delayed neutrons activity was obtained on the base of the method for interaction of relativistic protons from synchrocyclotron of PNPI (Gatchina) with 238U sample. Measured data were analyzed within the 8-group model of precursors of delayed neutrons with universal set of half-lives. A comparison of the present data on relative abundances with appropriate data of the other authors was made.
