Abstract

A digital platform “Interactive system for using nuclear data” (ISIDA) for visualization, processing and use of nuclear data has been developed, capable of competing with foreign analog programs.
The paper describes the process of creating the WPF-application ISIDA. The approach is based on the idea of preserving the vast experience accumulated over many years of working with libraries (databases) of nuclear physical data of various values. One of the fundamental tasks of creating an interactive platform is to preserve an experience in creation of national libraries of nuclear data, as well as the algorithms for working with them, including the use in various applications, as well as for the purpose of creating new nuclear data evaluations.
The ISIDA digital platform being developed allows for quick access to nuclear databases and numerical values, a graphical representation of existing information contained in the databases, both directly in the process of their formation, and when compared with the available similar data in modern versions of the world libraries of evaluated nuclear data (ENDF/B, JENDL, JEFF, TENDL, CENDL, etc.).
The result of the work is a pilot version of the ISIDA WPF-application. The shell of the new digital platform is developed in the C# programming language (“C-sharp”). Done integration into the digital platform of the Russian Library of Neutron Data ROSFOND with the possibility of connecting any other foreign libraries of the evaluated nuclear data. A graphical module has been developed for visualizing cross sections and comparing them with existing similar data.
A module for automating the preparation of libraries of constants for use in neutron-physics calculations, both for precision codes of the Monte Carlo method and for multigroup engineering calculations, has been developed.
The developed new digital platform ISIDA will be useful in the preparation and training of young nuclear industry workers at universities and in industry enterprises too.
