Abstract

In present paper we offer the results of computational modeling of experiments BFS-40 series, which simulates compositions of typical small-size fast nuclear reactors. The experiments were carried out in 1977-1992 at IPPE. We studied 9 assemblies with various core and reflector compositions and achieve that it's description accuracy is sufficient for use it as benchmarks. At the calculation stage we used the following Monte-Carlo codes: MMKFK-2 with ABBN-78, 90, 93, MCU-RFFI and MCNP with ENDF/B-VI. Comparing the results of experiments and calculations allowed us to choose the most suitable code and data library for the considered type of nuclear reactors.
