Abstract

For a micromodel of a fusion blanket based on 0.52NaF + 0.48ZrF4 melt of fluoride salt the experimental values of (n, 2n), (n, p), (n, pn), (n, α), (n, n'γ) and (n, γ) reaction rates measured in channels via samples of natural and highly enriched composition: natNi, natZr, natNb, natCd, natTi, natCo, 63,65Cu, 64Zn, natIn, natAl, natMg, natFe, natAu, natTh are presented. The experiments were carried out by the activation method without destroying the irradiated samples. As a source of fusion neutrons was used an NG-24M neutron generator manufactured by VNIIA im. N.L. Dukhov, which emits neutrons with an energy of ~14.1 MeV. The reaction products were measured using verified γ-spectrometers based on two GC2518 coaxial HP detectors, a GUL 0110 planar detector, and a LaBr3(Ce) scintillation detector. The γ-spectra of the irradiated samples were processed using the GENIE2000 software package. The calculation of independent and/or cumulative reaction rates was carried out using the SIGMA code; in total, 52 reaction products with a half-life from 9.458 minutes (27Mg) to 5.27 years (60Co) were identified. The dimensions and composition of the materials of the installation elements are presented, which are necessary to create a mathematical model used to calculate the reaction rates by transport codes.
